According to a trade bulletin released from China’s General Administration of Customs, the nation’s exports of textiles and apparel during January-March 2017 remained flat compared to the year before with the value rising by 0.4% year-on-year to US$54,880 million (provisional).

First-quarter exports of apparel decreased by 0.1% to US$31,620 million, while those of textiles increased by 1.2% to US$23,260 million.

March 2017 exports of textiles and apparel climbed 18.8% over the same month of last year to US$20,020 million: textiles, US$9,100 million (up 14.9%) and apparel, US$10,920 million (up 22.3%).
