Asia’s largest biennial event for the entire technical textile and nonwovens sector will feature some of the industry’s biggest overseas machinery brands. Held on an earlier date from this September 4th to 6th, the fair will feature an expected 500-plus total exhibitors from around 20 countries and regions.

As the world’s largest producer of technical textiles and nonwovens, China’s demand for production machinery is insatiable. As such, this September’s Cinte Techtextil China has attracted some of the world’s leading machinery brands, particularly in the nonwovens and weaving machinery sectors, ensuring a wide range of sourcing options for both domestic and international buyers.

As Chinese domestic and export markets’ demand for quality technical textiles and nonwovens products continues to increase, overseas machinery brands continue to enter the country, using Cinte Techtextil China as their starting-out platform.

Andritz Nonwoven is just one of those who see the growing potential. “Chinese nonwovens manufacturers are increasingly requiring higher capacities and top-class quality for their nonwovens products for local and export markets,” explains Laurent Jallat.

The DiloGroup also reports an increase in demand for their products in China. “China is one of our biggest markets,” explains Dominik Foshag.

Oerlikon will introduce its spunbond technology to the Chinese market this year, and expects to conclude initial contracts at the fair due to increased demand for overseas products.

Truetzschler Nonwovens has also noticed this trend. Jutta Stehr says, “In the last two or three years, China has become one of the pacemakers in the field of nonwovens used in beauty, skin care and hygiene applications. Asian markets have set new standards concerning quality in nonwovens.”

Cinte Techtextil China will feature major European loom builders such as Itema, Picanol and Dornier.

In addition to these leading overseas brands, Cinte Techtextil China will have a strong line-up of Chinese machinery producers, including Changshu Weicheng Non-Woven Equipment and Shijiazhuang Textile Machinery.
