The Teijin Group announced that Toho Tenax Co., Ltd., the group’s carbon fibers and composites business, and Shanghai-based Teijin Aramid Asia Co., Ltd., the group’s aramid fibers business, will participate in China Composites Expo 2016, Asia’s largest composites exhibition, in Shanghai from August 31st to September 2nd.Some 470 exhibitors will take part in this annual show.

The new aramid fabric is expected to meet growing demands for safety clothing that offers comfort and maneuverability, as well as high visibility. The new aramid fabric is fully compliant with ISO 20471:2013, the international standard for high-visibility clothing that enables others to see the wearer in a variety of lighting conditions.
