According to China’s General Administration of Customs, the nation’s exports of textiles and apparel in January 2018 decreased by 3.3% compared to the year before to US$23.11 billion (provisional), the first decrease in five months since last August.

Exports of textiles increased by 4.7% to US$9.99 billion, thus increasing for four consecutive months since last September.

Apparel exports decreased by 7.6% to US$13.12 billion, thus decreasing for the second consecutive month.
