JUKI Launches Next Generation of Sewing Systems Capable of 2-Way Data Transmission

           JUKI Corporation has launched three new products in the Japanese and overseas markets.

The new LK-1900BN series is a computer-controlled, high-speed, bartacking sewing system, and the LK-1903BN series is a computer-controlled, high-speed, lockstitch button sewing system. The LBH-1790AN series is a computer-controlled, high-speed, lockstitch buttonholing sewing system. All three new products facilitate the transfer of sewing pattern data with the use of ICT (information and communication technology).

The LK-1900BN series provides 51 sewing patterns that are different in the shape, size and stitching density of bartacks. The LK-1903BN series provides 50 sewing patterns that are different in the number of holes on the button, button size and button stitching shape. The LBH-1790AN series provides 99 sewing patterns that are different in the shape, size and stitching density of buttonholes. All of the sewing systems can store the sewing patterns in its operation panel.

These new sewing systems can save the sewing pattern data stored in the operation panel on a tablet, and transfer the data to the operation panel of another sewing machine only by bringing the tablet close to it. It is easy to configure settings for sewing machines of the same kind in a factory, thereby substantially reducing setup and preparation time

In addition, the data on the operation of each sewing machine can be “visualized” real time by graphically displaying on a table, contributing to an improvement of activities through analysis of the visualized data. (By means of JUKI Smart APP)

JUKI launched a digital sewing system based on a lockstitch machine that makes use of IoT in August. The new LK sewing system incorporates the same system. For customers engaged in global business, this new system is quite helpful since it further facilitates transmission, sharing and management of data, thereby achieving stabilization of product quality globally.
