The 25th edition of Milano Unica from July 11th to 13th had an attendance of over 6,000 businesses, which is in line with the September 2016 show, but buyers were said to have stayed twice as long for business.
Many of the exhibitors in the Japan Observatory (JOB) favorably accepted the early holding of the show. One of the exhibitors appreciated the early holding as July was a month when they visited customers themselves. Another exhibitor also thought the early holding was good because the customers they target completed their sampling by September. A third exhibitor says, “Although it depends on the total number of customers attracted during the three days, we welcome an early holding.”
An agent for an Italian textile manufacturer mentioned that a July holding was appropriate.
Business differed among JOB exhibitors, as the number of business negotiations increased for some, but the turnout of customers was sluggish for others. However, most of the exhibitors reported that the negotiations themselves were rich in contents.
The 26th edition of Milano Unica will be held from February 6th to 8th, 2018, and the 27th edition from July 10th to 12th.
