Teijin Frontier Establishes Subsidiary in Mexico

Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd., the Teijin Group’s fiber-products converting company, established Teijin Frontier Mexico S.A. de C.V in Mexico City on February 3rd as its first automotive material subsidiary in the Americas. The subsidiary will manufacture and sell materials for auto manufacturing, and will serve as the headquarters for the North American market, where Teijin Frontier is aiming to expand its market share by supplying rubber and materials for car seats and airbags to Japanese and other automobile companies operating in Mexico. Sales and marketing activities are scheduled to begin in July 2016.
