Komatsu Seiren Co., Ltd. will exhibit in Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics (October 11th to 13th; Shanghai, China) for the first time in three years. The company will have its own booth that is not located in the Japan Pavilion, and will again aim at expanding fabric sales in the Mainland Chinese market.
Komatsu Seiren had been continuously exhibiting in this exhibition, and its digital printed fabrics received Best Weave Design in the Design Competition Award. However, the company changed to holding private exhibitions in order to prevent its fabric designs and processing ideas from being stolen.
Komatsu Seiren decided to exhibit again because business negotiations with Chinese buyers at Première Vision Fabrics and other exhibitions have changed in contents, as they want to purchase its fabrics in earnest. Unlike a private exhibition, the company can make a presentation to an unspecified number of buyers, and so it aims to have the Komatsu brand penetrate the market and to expand its sales.
In the future, it will also consider having Komatsu Seiren (Suzhou) Textile Dyeing Co., Ltd. participate in the exhibition.
