Karl Mayer will showcase warp-knitted textiles having an exceptional level of performance at Techtextil 2019 (Booth 3.0/E18) from May 14th to 17th in Frankfurt. According to statistics released by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the nation’s production of disposable diapers in 2018 decreased by 4.6% to 23.48 million diapers. By weight, production declined by 3% to 877,627 tons. While the production of disposable diapers for babies has been decreasing (down 8.9% in number and 7.9% in weight), that of disposable diapers for adults continued to grow (up 4.3% in number and 3.7% in weight).
