Daidoh Limited suspended operations at the Songjiang Factory of consolidated subsidiary Daidoh Limited (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. on September 21st.
The suspension of operations is intended for restructuring the revenue base of the entire group. Although the Textile Business Unit suspended production within the group, it will endeavor to establish a manufacturing system with cooperation from subcontract factories inside and outside Japan.
Daidoh Limited (Shanghai) was established in December 1993. The Songjiang Factory manufactured materials for apparel and apparel. Revisions were made to its manufacturing system in 2014, but because the Textile Business Unit could not secure a sufficient amount of orders and production quantity, it was decided to discontinue operations.
