The Japan Fashion Industry Council has renewed the J∞ Quality website.
The renewed website, which is appearing from October 18th, provides details on J∞ Quality certified companies (weavers, knitter, dyeing and finishing houses, apparel manufacturers, merchandisers, etc.), and a Factory∞ Search site has been added for easier search for information.
In regard to the J∞ quality goods certification business, the number of certified companies is currently about 700 cases. A database containing detailed information on the companies has been compiled, and the introduction of a system that will enable Japanese and overseas merchandisers to easily search for companies in each of the processing stages is expected to create opportunities for business matching and establishing supply chains.
The Factory∞ Search site also introduces companies in English. In the future, five or six apparel brands will be selected for supporting the development of Monozukuri with the use of this system.
