As part of a cooperation program among China, Korea and Japan, KanFa, a cooperative of fashion-related firms in the Kansai area of Japan, displayed the creations of Japanese fashion students in Korea.
At the Daegu International Fashion Culture Festival 2016 held in Daegu, Korea from October 3rd to 7th, forty excellent works were selected from the two fashion schools of Osaka Bunka Fashion College and Marronnier College of Fashion Design, and were introduced as creations exhibiting the sensibility of the young generation in Japan.
Managed by fashion industrial organizations in Daegu, the festival is held for the purpose of invigorating the local economy. Students and designers from China, Korea and Japan are participating, and are revealing the latest fashion trends and traditional garments of their countries.
A cooperation contract was concluded among fashion associations in Dalian, China, Daegu and Osaka in March 2015. Participation in the Daegu festival is a good opportunity for deepening mutual cooperation in academic sector including global interaction and cooperation among the schools.
