According to a trade bulletin released from China’s General Administration of Customs, the nation’s exports of textiles and apparel in November 2016 decreased by 1.6% from the same month of last year to US$21,620 million (provisional). The decrease was 7.7 percentage points smaller than in October.

Textile exports rose by 4.2% to US$9,030 million, which is the first rise in three months since August. Apparel exports fell 5.4% to US$12,590 million.

January-November 2016 textile and apparel exports decreased by 6.9% year-on-year to US$239,560 million: textiles, US$96,000 million (down 3.8%) and apparel, US$143,560 million (down 8.7%).
