Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. is exhibiting a prototype 3D UV-curable inkjet printer (provisional product name: 3DUJ-P) at Japan Shop 2017 from March 7th to 10th in Tokyo.
In 2015, Mimaki announced its entry into the 3D printer business and started its own 3D printer full color development.
At Japan Shop 2017, the company is proposing solutions and making demonstrations and samples with this printer for the markets of sign graphics, industrial products, textiles and apparel.
The 3DUJ-P can create over 10 million color combinations. Full color combinations are possible because of Mimaki’s experience and know-how in inkjet printing technology. At the exhibition, the company is exhibiting color block samples, and visitors can experience a wide range of unique color expressions.
