Schoeller Textil AG will debut new warp knitted materials containing X4zol-J for running, trail running, cycling and athleisure categories at Outdoor in Friedrichshafen, Germany from June 18th to 21st.
X4zol-J is a new elastomeric fiber developed by Lubrizol, a specialized chemical company based in Cleveland, Ohio (U.S.). Schoeller’s partnership with Lubrizol to utilize the X4zol-J fiber program enables the companies to jointly develop new textiles that meet a previously unachieved standard in terms of compression, fabric elongation and wearer comfort. The result provides leading apparel brands with a welcome point of difference and consumers with garments that meet the requirements of a modern lifestyle.
On June 19th, representatives of Lubrizol will be on hand at Outdoor to answer questions on the X4zol-J fiber.
X4zol-J thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) fiber is a new elastomeric monofilament that is manufactured differently from spandex, resulting in unique qualities that provide high wearer comfort. It is created through solvent-free melt extrusion. This new innovative fiber takes apparel fit to the next generation, as it provides balanced 360º of comfortable stretch and support, breathability and sustainable benefits.
