According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the nation’s exports of textiles and garments during January-May 2017 increased by 9.1% year-on-year to US$9.31 billion.
Exports by markets were: the U.S., US$4.58 billion; EU, US$1.30 billion; and Japan, US$1.14 billion.
Exports in May 2017 grew by 2.9% over the same month of last year to US$1.93 billion.
