According to the General Administration of Customs in China, the nation’s exports of textiles and apparel continued to grow, as exports during January-June 2017 increased by 2.2% year-on-year to US$124,050 million (provisional).
First-half 2017 exports of textiles grew by 3.1% to US$53,120 million, and those of apparel rose by 1.4% to US$70,930 million.
June textile and apparel exports increased by 1.4% over the same month of last year to US$24,350 million. Of this, textiles grew 6.0% to US$9,660 million, thus growing for four consecutive months since March. Apparel exports during the month decreased by 1.4% to US$14,690 million.
