Suminoe Textile Co., Ltd. has established a company for the production and sales of automotive interior materials (car mats) in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Capitalized at 16 million bahts, the capital shares in Suminoe Koide (Thailand) Co., Ltd. are 65% for Suminoe and 35% for Koidex Co., Ltd. Thailand is the sixth country where Suminoe is to produce car mats; the other five countries are Japan, China, Indonesia, the U.S. and Mexico. Suminoe Koide is the twelfth production base.
