EDANA, the leading global association serving the nonwovens and related industries, announced that Outlook 2020 taking place from September 23rd to 25th, 2020, will go online.
Outlook 2021 will be held in Lisbon at the Corinthia Hotel from April 21st to 23rd, 2021.
Outlook is a conference for nonwovens personal care, hygiene & wipes products, and is the place to be if you are active in those businesses. For the last 15 years, Outlook has gathered hundreds of professionals annually around high-level, thought provoking presentations, panels and workshops, while providing a unique networking setting for the whole value chain.
In the last couple of months, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many people to change the way they work, think and interact with each other. As an association committed to consistently provide the best services to its members and the industry in general, EDANA has worked hard the past weeks to come up with creative solutions for the events.
Outlook 2020 will take place via an online platform. Each day, a 3-hour webinar will feature an outstanding program with keynotes speeches, presentations, Q&A and discussions. The recent development in the different nonwovens applications contributing directly in the fight against COVID-19, the industry’s efforts and the long-term plans regarding the European Union supply will also be a part of the program. The Whova app will be offered to allow maximum interaction and networking among participants.
Outlook 2021 will feature a new session on healthcare and medical developments, a sector in which the role of nonwovens has been highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The dates in spring were chosen to allow enough time between the conference and INDEX 20, the leading nonwovens exhibition that has been rescheduled to September 7th to 10th, 2021.
Registration will start next week with a special package for people registering for both Outlook 2020 and Outlook 2021.
