The outline for the comprehensive textile exhibition “2nd Tokyo Textile Scope” (TTS) has been finalized. The event will be held over three days starting November 12 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Hamamatsucho Building (Floors 2–5) in Minato Ward, Tokyo. A total of 281 companies will present fabrics for the Fall/Winter 2026 season, alongside a robust lineup of special exhibitions. A new initiative—the Incubation Program—will also be introduced.

Exhibitor booths will occupy floors 3 to 5, with a total of 220 booths. Among the 281 exhibitors, eight companies and organizations are participating for the first time, having never joined previous exhibitions or business meetings under TTS’s predecessor. New Japanese exhibitors include Suzuken Woolen Co., Ltd , Sekisui Nano Coat Technology Co., Ltd., and All Japan SI-RO-SET Processor’s Corporative Association.

The third floor will feature zones for synthetic fibers and wool, including a popular “regional focus” corner from the previous event. This time, visitors can virtually experience production facilities in the Bishu textile production region via VR. The fourth floor will host booths for companies dealing in knits, prints, denim, lace, and materials. The fifth floor will be dedicated to silk-related businesses.

Special exhibitions will be concentrated on the second floor. These include the Trend & Index Corner and various “What’s Next” sections. A “Pigskin Fashion Show” will be held, organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Leather Industry Promotion Council. The event space will also feature fashion shows and seminars.

“What’s Next” consists of three sections:

What’s Next Textile: A popular material voting corner showcasing 48 items from 48 companies.

What’s Next Scope: Highlights innovative companies and materials, including the eggshell membrane fiber “ovoveil,” featured in products by fashion brand “doublet.”

What’s Next Information Corner: A promotional booth for “J∞ Quality,” with 14 companies exhibiting products shown at “Pitti Immagine Uomo.” Uchida Dyeing Works Ltd. will also demonstrate traditional tie-dye techniques.

The new Incubation Program includes two initiatives:

JFW New Creator Award (NCA): A mission-based contest selecting one grand prize winner and two excellence awardees.

JFW Fabric Connection: A matchmaking program linking designers with TTS exhibitors.
