The Board of Directors of Shima Seiki Mfg., Ltd. has decided to promote Executive Vice President Mitsuhiro Shima to President, subject to approval at the annual meeting of stockholders scheduled for June 28th. He will also serve as Director of the Sales Headquarters, and will be in charge of the Corporate Planning Division.
Dr. Masahiro Shima, President of Shima Seiki, will assume the post of Chairman.
