DuPont, Hyosung, Invista and Lenzing will be hosting group pavilions at this month’s Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, adding to the fall/winter sourcing season’s most comprehensive range of quality, innovative and fashionable apparel fabrics and accessories.
Over 4,500 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions will take part in this edition. Also joining them will be group pavilions by the Better Cotton Initiative, Korea Textile Center and Korea Textile Trade Association, Ecocert and Oeko-Tex in the All About Sustainability area, and the Button & Garment Accessories Industry Chamber in Accessories Vision.
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics is the apparel industry’s leading event, bringing together an unrivaled number of suppliers and trade buyers from October 11th to 13th. Covering the entire spectrum of apparel fabrics and accessories, the fair also boasts a number of trend forums, seminars and panel discussions, while it is also held alongside the concurrent Yarn Expo, CHIC and PH Value fairs – making it the most effective business platform for the global textile industry.
The Lenzing Pavilion will feature more than 50 partner mills. The biggest group pavilion at the fair, Lenzing’s partner mills will showcase a wide range of innovative products, and a particular highlight this edition will be Lenzing EcoVero branded viscose fibers – a “new standard in eco-responsible viscose…offering the lowest environmental impact in the industry,” according to the company.
Invista will host two pavilions and a seminar on IP protection in the textile industry. Its involvement at this year Intertextile Shanghai will focus on what it dubs its ‘Innovative Attitude’ to consumers, partners, as well as the whole industry.
DuPont and Hyosung Pavilions will offer a range of functional options. From these two industry innovators, a number of functional fabric options will be on offer in their pavilions.
