According to China’s General Administration of Customs, the nation’s exports of textiles and apparel in April 2018 slightly decreased by 0.6% from the same month of last year to US$21.49 billion (provisional).

April exports of textiles grew by 7.1% to US$10.51 billion, thus recovering from the decrease in March. Apparel exports continued to head downward with a 7.0% decrease in April to US$10.97 billion.

Textile and apparel exports during January-April 2018 increased by 3.2% year-on-year to US$78.93 billion: textiles, US$36.37 billion (up 11.4%) and apparel, US$42.56 billion (down 1.2%).
