According to provisional statistics released by the China General Administration of Customs, the nation’s exports of textiles and apparel in March 2019 grew by 28.2% over the same month of last year to US$18,181.7 million.
Exports of textiles increased by 35.6% to US$9,524.0, and surpassed exports of apparel (up 20.9% to US$8,657.7 million).
January-March 2019 exports of textiles and apparel decreased by 2.2% to US$56,330.8 million: textiles, US$26,900.7 million (up 3.9%) and apparel, US$29,430.1 million (down 6.5%).
