Cinte Techtextil China will open its doors from October 12th to 14th in Shanghai, with a final exhibitor lineup confirmed that is one of the most diverse yet.
In addition to pavilions from Belgium, Germany and Italy as well as a European Zone and Chinese regional pavilions, the Korea and Taiwan Pavilions feature some of these countries’ best technical textile and nonwovens suppliers. With around 450 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions set to take part, and the first-time participation of the Korea Pavilion, buyers will be presented with a wider range of sourcing options at this edition.
According to the Korea Textile Trade Association, special products to watch out for in the pavilion this year include textiles integrated with ICT elements, such as fabrics made from piezoelectric fiber which have sensing properties, as well as high visibility fabrics using LED lights and optical fibers for use in safety clothing. Other products on offer in the pavilion are fabrics for protective wear, heat-resistant and flame-retardant yarn and fabrics, reflective fabrics and automotive seat fabrics.
The Taiwan Pavilion will be full of innovative products that their producers are well known for. According to pavilion organizer Taiwan Technical Textiles Association, Taiwan’s strong textile production base, R&D capabilities and market acumen place them in a strong position to excel in the technical textile and nonwovens markets by creating distinctive, high value adding products.
