The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is entering fashion showroom business in the U.S.
The purpose is to support the development of overseas sales channels for Japanese men’s fashion brands, and six brands will participate. JETRO has been supporting the participation of Japanese firms in exhibitions, and it is the first time that it is collaborating with local showrooms and supporting marketing activities before and after exhibitions.

JETRO has concluded a business contract with Mahna Mahna Showroom of New York, and will provide support to six Japanese men’s fashion brands, which will show their products from January 24th to 26th in the showroom of Liberty Fashion & Lifestyle Fairs in New York. From January 27th to February 2nd, buyers are invited to a showroom in Soho for negotiations.

Besides showing their products to many buyers at trade fairs, the showroom is intended for approaching buyers by making full use of JETRO’s original network.
