Shima Seiki Mfg., Ltd., together with Italian subsidiary Shima Seiki Italia S.p.A., will participate in the ISPO exhibition in Munich, Germany from February 5th to 8th.
The company will be a corporate sponsor to the ISPO Brandnew Village, a special display section for presenting award-winning innovations by newcomers to the sports industry.

On display in the company’s booth at the Brandnew Village (Hall B5, Booth BN04) will be the latest sportswear samples produced on its latest line of computerized knitting machines, including revolutionary seam-free WholeGarment knitwear that features superior fit, comfort and style. Nearby at its main booth (Booth 538), a WholeGarment knitting machine along with a computer design system will be shown.

The flagship MACH2XS WholeGarment knitting machine features such innovations as the original SlideNeedle on four needle beds as well as the company’s patented spring-loaded moveable sinker system. It can knit beautiful, high-quality 3D Items with dimensional structures and details that are unique to WholeGarment, all with very high efficiency while minimizing dependence upon labor-intensive sewing and linking.

The SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system will also be available for demonstrating its “all-in-one” capability to support all aspects of fashion design and production. APEX3 is at the core of Shima Seiki’s Total Fashion System concepts, allowing smooth workflow from planning, design and programming to production and even sales promotion.
