According to the China Home Textile Association, the nation’s exports of home textiles during January-April 2017 decreased by 1.4% year-on-year to US$11,463 million. While exports to Japan rose by 4.9% to US$1,071 million, exports to the American market declined by 3.6% to US$2,965 million, and those to Europe were down 2.8% to US$1,923 million.
Meanwhile, imports fell 9.6% year-on-year to US$447 million.
