Shima Seiki to Exhibit at KnitTech 2019

Shima Seiki Mfg., Ltd. will exhibit at the upcoming KnitTech 2019 exposition in Tirupur, India from March 1st to 4th. (Booth A65, A66)

As pioneer of WholeGarment knitting technology whereby an entire garment can be produced in one piece on the machine without linking or sewing, the company will present exclusive solutions to meet the current and future needs of the Indian market. Such solutions are provided by the company’s MACH2S WholeGarment knitting machine that offers the flexibility of producing knitwear using every other needle as well as conventional shaped knitwear using all needles. This feature helps users to invest in their technology wisely. Also shown will be the SVR202 machine featuring an 80-inch knitting width and tandem knitting capability for added flexibility in knit manufacturing. Twin carriages can be used together for double-cam knitting, or used separately for single-cam knitting of two identical pieces in tandem. Other features include such industry-leading innovations as the R2Carriage, spring-type moveable sinker, Digital Stitch Control System (DSCS), stitch presser and takedown comb. Demonstrations will also be performed on the latest version of the SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system.
