According to a trade bulletin released from China’s General Administration of Customs, the nation’s exports of textiles and apparel in April 2017 increased by 3.6% compared to the same month of last year to US$21,610 million (provisional).

Exports dropped to US$10,980 million in February, which in recent years is the smallest next to US$10,880 million in February 2014, but March exports climbed 18.8% to US$20,020 million.

April exports of textiles rose by 1.6% to US$9,810 million, and those of apparel grew by 5.4% to US$11,800 million.

January-April exports of textiles and apparel increased by 2.1% year-on-year to US$76,490 million: textiles, US$33,080 million (up 1.9%) and apparel, US$43,410 million (up 2.3%).
