Karl Mayer Technische Textilien GmbH will exhibit innovative solutions regarding reinforcement layer fabrics at the upcoming JEC World from March 6th to 8th at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center in Paris.

In Hall 5, Stand Q58, the company will display high-performance composite machines, such as the COP MAX 4 flexible all-round model for producing multi-layered, multi-axial structures with angles ranging between maximum +20° and —20° and COP MAX 5 especially designed for processing carbon fibers.

The COP MAX 5 can manufacture layer fabrics with a very low weight per unit area, and works either with an on-line or off-line fiber material feeding system. For the spreading of fiber tapes for the off-line version, Karl Mayer Technische Textilien offers the UD 700 fiber spreading unit.

Information on high-performance machines will be available as video presentation, print media to read, and also during discussions with Karl Mayer specialists. One main focus will be on the topic of glass layers with defined carbon fiber reinforcements. Tailor-made reinforcement textiles are produced on multi-axial machines with a filler thread shogging device during the so-called “Variolaying“ procedure.
