According to China’s General Administration of Customs, exports of textiles and apparel in February 2019 dropped 35.7% compared to the same month of last year to US$13,075.59 million.

Exports of both textiles and apparel were at the lowest level since February 2017. Exports of textiles fell 33.2% to US$5,959.27 million, and those of apparel dropped 37.7% to US$7,116.32 million. Both decreased for the first time in two months.

Textile and apparel exports during January-February decreased by 11.6% year-on-year to US$38,154.74 million: textiles, US$17,379.95 million (down 7.8%) and apparel, US$20,774.79 million (down 14.6%).
