Teijin Limited (the “Company”) hereby announces that the Board of Directors of Continental Structural Plastics Holdings Corporation (in the U.S.), a consolidated subsidiary of the Company, resolved to change its trade name on September 21, 2021 (local time). Inapal Plasticos S.A., Benet Automotive s.r.o. and CSP Victall (Tangshan) Structural Composites Co., Ltd., consolidated subsidiaries of the Company, will also
change their company names sequentially.
The Teijin Group has been pursuing global expansion in the automotive composite business as an area for future sources of earnings (Strategic Focus) under ALWAYS EVOLVING, the mediumterm management plan for 20202022. In this business, while maintaining and strengthening our presence in the United States with the top market share through expansion into high valueadded applications with multimaterial composites, we are also strengthening and expanding our business in Europe and China.
Under these circumstances, to maximize our total capabilities through the integration of information and technologies within the Group beyond regions, we have integrated related businesses and functions, built the business brand “Teijin Automotive Technologies,” and decided to change the trade names of related companies. Under the new company names, we will further strengthen and expand the global presence of the Teijin Automotive Technologies business.
